Niños de Baja is a Christian outreach ministry in El Porvenir, a small farming town in Baja California,
Mexico. The mission is to share Christ’s love by serving children in Baja.
Niños de Baja has six main ministries:
¨ A children’s home for those who have been orphaned, abused or abandoned.
¨ A daycare center for local working moms and migrant farm families
¨ An outreach to the community
¨ An opportunity for mission teams to serve
¨ An intern program
¨ A child sponsorship program
Most of the children come from the city of Ensenada. Some are orphans. Some have been abandoned
by their parents. But, most have been removed from their homes, by government agencies, because of
neglect and abuse.
FCC sends teams to Niños each year. Shoeboxes filled with toys, personal hygiene items and school
supplies are filled by individuals in the FCC community and delivered in time to be part of the annual
Christmas outreach.
