Dear Friends,We have some great news to share with you all. On July 26th, our 2 church plants held a combined baptismal service and 20 people were baptized into Christ! Here in Thailand, when people accept Christ, the churches generally have them wait for a period of time to see if they are committed and truly understand the Gospel. These 20 that were baptized have been waiting for a few months so it was really special. We had all ages from kids up to people in their 70's. Please pray for these new believers that God would establish them in their newfound faith.
The Covid situation here in Thailand is quite good. Thailand was recently put on a list of 7 countries that are safe to visit. However, the government is still not allowing tourists to come in and this is having a devastating effect on the local economy here. Most people here are wearing masks in public places and large businesses are checking people's temperature at the door.
Our business (BAM) here is struggling to survive in hopes that there will be an uptick coming before the end of the year. God has blessed us with a lot of spiritual fruit as of late. Please pray that He will bless our business/ministry platform as well. He loves to work miracles in the middle of difficult situations. :)
