Growth Groups are FCC in action! They are the church being what God wants a church to be. Several small groups meet weekly in a home near you. The focus of these groups is to fellowship together, study the Bible, help share burdens, pray together, and grow together in Christ. These groups also provide an opportunity to invite a friend to an informal, loving setting where he/she can meet other believers. These groups are essential for your spiritual growth in Christ. Therefore, we are asking every First Christian member and attendee to be part of a Growth Group.
Reaching the world for Christ is a big part of who we are at FCC. We partner with many groups and individuals throughout the world to bring the hope and love of Jesus to all nations. We have annual short-term missions trips, monthly iPAD (international prayer and dinner) meetings, and regularly meet for prayer to lift up believers in areas such as Kurdistan. Click the link below to see everything going on in our missions department and this month's events and activities.
Our bible studies are another great way to connect with scripture and with God's people. While the primary goal of bible studies is instruction in God's Word, many people find that the members of their Bible study becomes an important part of their church families.
Our Restoration men's ministries seeks to partner with men in their daily walk with God. With practical biblical teaching we hope to come alongside men and build them up as the spiritual leaders of their homes, workplaces and communities. Our weekly meetings are:
Sundays 9:00am room 143
Wednesdays 6:00 am in the FCC Cafe
Thursdays 6:30pm room 215
Our Women's Ministry, also known as Girlfriends, exists to:
BEFRIENDING other women and give them a place to....
BELONGING to the fellowship of Christian women so they will come to....

BECOMING more like Him!

We have many opportunities for students 6th-12 grade to connect with other believers their own age to grow in their own faith while spreading the love of God to their friends, families, schools and workplaces. Who We Are
Southwestern Christian School, an interdenominational Christian School, is a ministry under the leadership of First Christian Church. It is comprised of full-day kindergarten through eighth grade. SWCS was established in 1993 to provide our community with an educational institution representing academic excellence through a Christ-centered curriculum and environment.
We believe Southwestern Christian School to be an extension of the home and church and not to be a substitution or replacement of them. It is our purpose to assist parents in meeting their God-given responsibility of training by providing an environment in which students can achieve their highest potential—spiritually, mentally, academically, emotionally, and physically.
We know every child is a unique and precious gift from God. As such, we have a wide range of lessons and activities designed to engage preschoolers on many levels. So, no matter if your child likes to sit quietly with a book or run outside pretending to be a super-hero, there are opportunities for them to do what they enjoy, . Children are encouraged to learn new things and have fun in new and exciting ways every day!
