CHRISTMAS GIVING

Every year, the church has a special “Christmas Giving” where congregation members are invited to donate to specific causes or ministries. You are challenged to give a gift equal to or greater than the most expensive gift you bought this year. This giving season, you have the opportunity to pass on God’s blessings by contributing above your normal giving to one of these:

Alice Rhodes – A missionary to Sierra Leone who has faithfully served for many years. She became a believer at FCC and was discipled in this church.  After attending Bible College, she joined a church planting team in the country of Sierra Leone.  Alice is carrying out the commandments of Christ by: evangelizing in rural villages using the Jesus Film, providing clean water to those who do not have it, ministering to women through skills development, sustainable community development projects, and loving people – always with a smile on her face.

The ministry of Alice and her team is a vital one in a country dominated by animistic traditions mixed with Islam.  Every week, Alice and Pastor Abdul make visits to rural Themne-speaking villages to share and teach the love of Christ.

The needs in Sierra Leone are great.  The relationships that Alice and the team have generated allow them to meet the spiritual, physical, and social needs of the communities in which they are working. Please consider donating to this fund so that Alice can continue to minister to the people of Sierra Leone.

Goal for Alice’s Annual Living Expenses: $14,000

FCC Homeless/Street Ministry - Every Thursday night, a team from FCC serves meals to our community members who are homeless or simply in need of a meal to let them know that God cares for them. In addition to giving toward this project, you can participate in the ministry by helping on Thursday nights.  Call the church office for more information @ 928-726-5616.

Goal for Street Ministry: $5,000

Golf Cart Repair and Upgrade - The golf carts we use to shuttle people to and from the parking lot have served us well for the past twenty years.  However, they are starting to show their age.

It is time we invested some money into them to make sure they can serve us well into the future.   The cost of purchasing brand-new golf carts is prohibitive, so we plan to repair and upgrade our current ones.   The needed repairs and upgrades include: lights, transmission, bodywork, tires, batteries, windshields, etc.

Goal for Golf Cart Repairs: $8,000
